NEWTON, Mass. —
One person was injured in a head-on collision between two vehicles on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash occurred around 2:41 p.m. near 1139 Beacon St., across from the Newton Cemetery. Emergency responders arrived on the scene to assist the injured.
According to Newton Police, at least one individual was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
Both vehicles sustained significant front-end damage and were located near the sidewalk.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident, with no further information available on the condition of the injured party.
