The Bourne Bridge reopened Sunday evening following a multi-car crash that occurred just after 1 p.m., according to Massachusetts State Police.
The incident involved several vehicles, with one driver becoming entrapped. This individual was transported to St. Luke's Hospital with serious injuries.
The bridge was closed in both directions for several hours as state police conducted their investigation, leading to lane closures and traffic disruptions. Emergency crews responded to the scene to assist the injured and manage the situation.
