HENRY COUNTY, Va. — Emergency services responded to a multiple-vehicle collision on U.S. 29 North near mile marker 17 on Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities said the crash, involving three vehicles, occurred around 3:15 p.m. and resulted in at least two confirmed injuries.
Responding agencies included the Henry County Sheriff's Office and the Virginia Department of Transportation, which set up traffic control measures.
One lane was closed for approximately one hour while crews cleared the scene and assisted those injured.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation, according to officials.
