Crash on I-394 in Minneapolis Causes Early Morning Disruptions
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — A motorcycle crash in the eastbound lanes of I-394 early Thursday morning led to traffic backups near the I-94 interchange.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a motorcyclist lost control, resulting in a collision with a Volvo, which subsequently rear-ended a Nissan. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with suspected injuries; no other drivers were reported hurt.
Traffic cameras from the Minnesota Department of Transportation indicated that eastbound traffic was already reduced to one lane due to ongoing construction before the Linden Avenue exit.
Multiple law enforcement agencies, along with an ambulance and a fire truck, responded to the scene.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and further details will be provided as they become available.
