MANCHESTER, N.H. — Three people sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision on Interstate 293 in Hooksett on Tuesday morning.
According to New Hampshire State Police, the incident occurred around 5:40 a.m. when a Maine man lost control of his vehicle, crossed the median, and struck a pickup truck. Both drivers, along with a passenger in the vehicle that crossed the median, were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities confirmed that speed may have played a role in the crash; however, the investigation is ongoing. Lane closures were implemented following the incident.
