Three Injured in Collision Involving KCPD Vehicle

KANSAS CITY, MO — Three individuals, including a police officer, were injured in a crash on Monday, October 2, at approximately 2:41 p.m. on 12th Street.

The incident occurred when a vehicle collided with a Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) unit with its emergency lights activated. Authorities confirmed that two civilians were also injured in the crash.

Emergency medical services promptly responded to the scene, providing aid to all three injured parties. The officer and one civilian were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The condition of the second civilian remains undisclosed.
