Three injured after car crashes into salon in Danvers, Mass., on Thursday afternoon.
DANVERS, Mass. —
According to the Danvers Police Department, officers responded to a report of a vehicle colliding with Beijo Beauty at 110 Newbury St. just before 3:30 p.m.
Three women inside the salon sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Witnesses reported that the impact was startling, with one salon customer describing it as “the worst sound I've ever heard.” The driver was heard expressing remorse immediately following the incident.
Emergency services intervened quickly, and the scene was secured for investigation.
Authorities stated that the cause of the crash is still under investigation, and it remains unclear if the driver will face any charges. Towing services were on site to remove the vehicle, and lane closures were enacted on Newbury St. during the response.
