A woman was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on Monday in Boone County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported that a 2007 Honda Goldwing was traveling south on Route UU, north of Blue Jay Way.
The 68-year-old driver from Westmoreland, Tennessee, failed to negotiate a curve and traveled onto a private drive, resulting in the motorcycle overturning.
She was ejected from the vehicle and subsequently transported to University Hospital by Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
Authorities stated that the woman was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
