LEHI, Utah — A motorcycle crash has fully closed southbound I-15 near Bluffdale Sunday evening, causing significant traffic delays.
The Utah Department of Transportation reported the closure around 5:45 p.m. Southbound motorists are advised to exit at 14600 South in Bluffdale.
According to Utah Highway Patrol, a motorcycle rear-ended a car. Witnesses noted the motorcyclist was driving recklessly. He was transported to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
By 6:20 p.m., UHP troopers reopened three lanes, allowing traffic to slowly resume movement amid ongoing congestion.
