OKFUSKEE COUNTY, Okla. (KOKH) — A 17-year-old boy died in a single-vehicle accident early Sunday in Okfuskee County.
First responders arrived on the scene at approximately 1 a.m. along N. 384, near E 1080. Authorities reported that the vehicle was traveling south on N. 384 when it left the roadway and collided with a tree.
The driver, identified as Zachary Goodwin, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Emergency crews and investigators from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol are on-site, conducting a detailed investigation into the incident.
No additional injuries were reported, and there were no lane closures following the accident.
