Pedestrian Struck in Lakeville Roundabout, Sustains Life-Threatening Injuries
A pedestrian was seriously injured in a roundabout crash in Lakeville on Thursday around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Highview Avenue and 185th Street West.
According to Lakeville Police, a 66-year-old woman was struck by a northbound Chevrolet Malibu as it entered the roundabout to turn west onto 185th Street West. The victim was in the crosswalk when the collision occurred.
Authorities reported that the driver displayed no signs of impairment and is cooperating with the investigation. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
