DES MOINES, Iowa — A semi-truck crash on Interstate 235 prompted lane closures Thursday afternoon.
The incident occurred at approximately 1 p.m. in the westbound lanes near E. 14th Street. The truck left the roadway and struck a barrier.
Des Moines police and fire department medics responded promptly to the scene. No injuries have been confirmed at this time. The area was reported clear by 2:30 p.m.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
