Police Video Shows Aftermath of St. George Collision Involving Accused Shooter
St. George, UT — On September 25, 2022, police responded to a traffic collision involving Tyler Robinson, who is accused of killing conservative influencer Charlie Kirk.

Robinson, 19, was driving an Audi that collided with a sedan making a left turn at an intersection. According to authorities, no citations were issued, and neither driver sustained visible injuries.

In the video footage, Robinson appeared cooperative and explained to officers, “The other driver would've been there going left, and as I was coming through, he turned in, and I T-boned into the side of him.” He also stated that he had just added oil to his vehicle before the accident.

Robinson was accompanied by his brother at the time of the crash, and his mother later arrived to provide insurance information to law enforcement.

Currently, Robinson faces multiple charges, including aggravated murder related to Kirk's death. Prosecutors have announced plans to pursue the death penalty. At his initial court appearance this week, Robinson wore an anti-suicide smock and only identified himself.

Court records indicate he threatened to harm himself before surrendering peacefully with the assistance of his parents and a family friend.
