Shortly after 1:00 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the collision on U.S. 158 at Eckner Street. Authorities reported that a 35-year-old woman driving a white SUV ran a red light and collided with a black truck driven by a 62-year-old man.
The male driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The woman has been charged with running a red light; neither vehicle had passengers.
Officials are continuing to investigate the incident, and lane closures were briefly in place during the emergency response.
