NEW ORLEANS — A school bus crashed into a canal Thursday morning in New Orleans East. The incident occurred before 9 a.m. at Morrison and Foch roads.
According to WDSU reporter Heath Allen, no children were on board at the time of the crash. A spokesperson for the New Orleans Police Department stated that the driver lost control of the bus for unknown reasons. Fortunately, officials have reported no injuries related to the incident.
Emergency response teams arrived on the scene, but further details regarding the investigation have yet to be disclosed.
