Shreveport, LA. – One person was killed in a car crash on Saturday morning in Shreveport.
According to the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office (CPSO), the accident happened around 8 a.m. on Mansfield Road and New Moon Drive.
A dark-colored truck was traveling southbound on Mansfield Road when it collided with a dark-colored SUV.
The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
The Shreveport Fire Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
