Missouri State Highway Patrol Troopers Investigate School Bus Crash in Audrain County

A school bus carrying eight students from North Callaway was involved in a crash Thursday morning at the intersection of Audrain Road 852 and Audrain Road 845.

According to a tweet from MSHP Troop F, the accident occurred when a 2010 Ford F-150 began to slide and collided with the bus, causing it to roll onto its side.

Emergency services quickly responded to the scene, providing care to the students. The MSHP reported that five students, ages 9 to 17, were transported to University Hospital with moderate injuries.

The truck driver, 21 years old, was also treated at the hospital for moderate injuries. Authorities confirmed that the parents of the affected students have been notified and the remaining students were released to their families after being cleared by emergency services.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing. No further details regarding lane closures or towing have been provided at this time.
