Crash on Route 20 in Charlton Claims One Life
CHARLTON, MA – A driver was killed and another seriously injured in a crash on Route 20 Tuesday morning, according to State Police.
Emergency responders, including the CHARLTON FIRE DEPARTMENT, arrived on the scene shortly after 8 a.m. The highway remains closed between Route 169 and Route 49 as the investigation continues.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second was airlifted to a local hospital. Authorities reported that the injuries sustained by the second driver are serious but not life-threatening.
