KERBY, Ore. – A driver and his dog escaped a rollover crash on Redwood Highway Monday afternoon.
The crash occurred around 3:36 p.m. in the 23000 block of Redwood Highway. Authorities reported that the driver managed to exit the vehicle with his dog before emergency responders arrived.
Both the Illinois Valley Fire District and AMR-Josephine County responded to the scene, alongside the Josephine County Sheriff's Office. An officer from Josephine County Animal Control assisted at the location.
Jerry's Towing removed the vehicle. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, according to the Sheriff's Office.
