A Rolla woman died in a vehicle crash in Phelps County early Saturday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the crash occurred at 2:10 a.m. on County Road 1000, east of Highway B.
According to the crash report, a 23-year-old driver was operating a 2013 Cadillac SRX when the vehicle veered off the right side of the road and struck a culvert.
After returning to the roadway, the driver overcorrected, leading the vehicle to overturn and eject her before colliding with a mailbox and a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. MSHP confirmed she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident.
