STUART, Fla. — Martin County prosecutors sought Tiger Woods' prescription records this week after his March 27 rollover crash on Jupiter Island and subsequent DUI arrest.
According to court filings, prosecutors requested dispensing dates, pill counts, dosages, and any driving-related warnings for medications filled at Lewis Pharmacy on Palm Beach Island.
Authorities said Woods faces two misdemeanor charges: driving under the influence causing damage to property or a person, and refusal to submit to a breath, blood or urine test.
Court records show Woods pleaded not guilty, waived arraignment, and is scheduled to appear at 8:30 a.m. May 5 at the Martin County Courthouse in Stuart.
A judge granted him permission to travel out of the country for inpatient treatment while the case proceeds, provided he returns for future court dates, records state.
According to the Martin County Sheriff's Office, the March 27 crash occurred on South Beach Road when Woods attempted to pass a pickup truck towing a trailer, crossed double solid lines, and struck the trailer, causing his SUV to roll onto its side.
Deputies reported no serious injuries.
According to a probable cause affidavit and body-worn camera footage, deputies noted bloodshot, glassy eyes, dilated pupils and lethargic movements; two hydrocodone pills were found loose in Woods' pocket.
Authorities said Woods declined a urinalysis and told deputies he looked down at his phone and adjusted the radio before the crash.
The case remains under investigation; no trial date has been set.
