A two-vehicle collision in Montgomery County on Tuesday evening resulted in the death of a Prattville man.
The incident occurred at 7:26 p.m. on Woodley Road near Snowdoun Chambers Road, approximately one mile south of Montgomery. According to State Troopers, 36-year-old Tracey E. Huffman was driving a pickup truck when it was struck by a tractor trailer. Huffman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency responders arrived promptly, but the extent of injuries to the other vehicle's occupants has not been disclosed. Authorities have stated that the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
As a result of the incident, Woodley Road was temporarily closed to facilitate emergency response and investigation. Traffic has since resumed following the towing of involved vehicles. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
