Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-95 Results in Injuries
North Charleston, SC – A multi-vehicle collision occurred on I-95 southbound near Exit 15 at approximately 2:41 p.m. on October 3, 2023.
Authorities reported that the accident involved three vehicles, resulting in injuries to two individuals. Emergency responders from the North Charleston Fire Department and Charleston County EMS arrived on the scene to provide medical aid. Both injured parties were transported to a local hospital; their conditions remain undisclosed.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the cause of the crash. All southbound lanes were temporarily closed but have since reopened. Authorities stated that towing services were needed for two of the vehicles involved.
