Wilmington Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of New Castle Man
March 1, 2026, 1:58 p.m. ET – State police identified 29-year-old Brian Silva of New Castle as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash in Wilmington.
Silva was riding a Harley-Davidson northbound on Dupont Highway when he collided with the rear of a stopped Lexus at Millside Drive around 3:30 p.m. on February 27. Police reported that Silva was ejected from the motorcycle and subsequently taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Delaware State Police are actively investigating the incident. Authorities urge anyone with additional information to contact them or Delaware Crime Stoppers.
