DENVER — A hit-and-run crash on Friday night left a pedestrian dead on Federal Boulevard near W. 26th Avenue.
The incident occurred at approximately 10 p.m., according to the Denver Police Department. A driver struck the pedestrian, who was on foot, and fled the scene. The driver's direction of escape remains unknown, and no vehicle description has been provided.
The identity of the deceased pedestrian will be released later by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner. Authorities have not confirmed whether the pedestrian was crossing the road at the time of the collision.
