DENVER — A crash involving an RTD A Line commuter rail train and a pedestrian resulted in one fatality on Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
The incident occurred around 1 p.m. in the 4200 block of N. Jackson Street. According to the Regional Transportation District (RTD), shuttle buses are currently replacing the A Line, causing approximately 30-minute delays for passengers.
Authorities confirmed that service disruptions affect several stops, including Union Station, 38th and Blake Station, 40th and Colorado Station, and Central Park Station. As of now, no information has been provided regarding when A Line service will resume.
Emergency response teams are on site, and police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. Delays are expected in the vicinity due to the ongoing investigation.
