Fatal Crash in Oshtemo Township Under Investigation
OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A fatal pedestrian crash occurred early Saturday morning around 4:35 a.m. at the intersection of West Main Street and North Drake Road.
According to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office, a 38-year-old man was struck by a vehicle and later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The driver remained at the scene and has been identified; however, names have not been released.
Authorities closed a portion of West Main Street during the investigation, which has since reopened. No further details regarding the circumstances of the crash are available as the investigation continues.
