MUSKEGON, Mich. — A 22-year-old driver died in a rollover crash early Thursday morning.
According to the Muskegon County Sheriff's Office, Isaiah Kooiman was found deceased inside his truck on East River Road, between Ewing Road and Holton-Duck Lake Road, shortly after midnight.
Deputies arrived to find Kooiman's vehicle off the road and rolled over near a bend. Initial investigations suggest that speed may have contributed to the crash.
There were no other vehicles involved and no confirmed injuries besides Kooiman's. Emergency responders are working to clear the scene, and lane closures may be in effect.
