Columbus police are investigating a crash that critically injured a pedestrian on I-270 Southbound near Williams on Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred around 7:15 a.m., involving one vehicle and a pedestrian. Authorities reported the pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.
Emergency responders from the Columbus Division of Fire arrived at the scene shortly after the collision. All southbound lanes of I-270 were temporarily closed as crews conducted the investigation and cleared the area.
