KANSAS CITY, KS — A high-speed crash involving a McLaren resulted in one fatality on Tuesday evening.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. on I-70 Westbound near the 7th Street exit. A McLaren was reportedly traveling at excessive speeds when it collided with two other vehicles.
One passenger in the McLaren sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the McLaren and the occupants of the other vehicles suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals for medical attention.
Emergency response teams, including the Kansas City Fire Department and AMR, were on site to assist with the situation and manage traffic. Lane closures were implemented to facilitate the investigation and clear the scene.
