LANCASTER, Ohio (WSYX) — A 29-year-old Circleville man died in a two-vehicle crash at a Lancaster intersection Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
The crash occurred at State Route 188 and Royalton Road in Fairfield County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said a 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage driven by Jacob Bush, 29, attempted a left turn onto SR 188 and failed to yield.
A 2019 Ford Ranger driven by Stephanie Biggum, 40, was traveling southwest on SR 188 and struck the Mitsubishi. Both vehicles left the roadway after impact, authorities said.
Bush died at the scene from his injuries, according to OSHP.
Biggum was taken to Mount Carmel East with minor injuries. A front-seat passenger in Bush's car, Christopher Jordan, 26, was also transported with minor injuries.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol Lancaster Post is investigating.
