One dead in single-vehicle rollover crash in northwest Oklahoma City
A single-vehicle rollover crash on Sunday morning left one man dead in northwest Oklahoma City.
The Oklahoma City Police Department reported the incident occurred at approximately 8:15 a.m. near Lake Hefner Pkwy. and West Memorial Rd. An adult male was traveling southbound on Lake Hefner Pkwy. when his vehicle struck the eastbound bridge, causing the vehicle to catch fire.
Emergency responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed that no other vehicles were involved.
The roadway is expected to be cleared soon, with crews working to reopen the lane. An investigation into the incident is ongoing, according to police.
