One dead after fiery crash on West County Line Road
JACKSON, Miss. — A two-vehicle crash resulted in one fatality on West County Line Road Saturday night around 9 p.m.
According to the Jackson Police Department, the incident occurred between Watkins Drive and Livingston Road. A gray Hyundai Santa Fe, driven by a 30-year-old woman, collided with a 2015 Ford Expedition.
Following the impact, the Ford Expedition caught fire, and the unidentified driver died at the scene. The driver of the Hyundai was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
