NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (LEX NEWS) — A serious crash involving a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle occurred on Lexington Road at around 2:41 p.m. Wednesday.
According to authorities, one individual sustained serious injuries and required medical attention. Emergency responders, including Nicholasville Police and local medical personnel, arrived at the scene shortly after the incident was reported.
All southbound lanes on U.S. 27 at Brannon Road are currently closed as crews work to investigate and clear the wreckage.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area and exercise caution, as traffic is being rerouted.
