Responding to reports of the collision, Fort Worth Police and Fire units arrived to find two vehicles involved in the dangerous race. The circumstances leading up to the accident involved both vehicles traveling at high rates of speed.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered a passenger in one of the vehicles had succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of that vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital for precautionary measures.
