LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — One person is dead following a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 in Mesquite on Sunday.
The incident occurred around 1:50 p.m. on northbound I-15 near Pioneer Boulevard, according to Mesquite Fire Rescue. Three individuals were transported to local hospitals for treatment, and authorities confirmed one fatality.
Nevada State Police, Highway Patrol, is leading the investigation, though the circumstances of the collision are still being determined. Witnesses observed a recreational vehicle overturned and engulfed in flames at the crash site.
Northbound I-15 was closed for several hours during the emergency response but has since reopened. The Beaver Dam/Littlefield Fire Department, Life Flight, and Mesquite Police Department provided assistance during the incident.
