CLARK COUNTY (KTNV) — A child was killed and two others injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash on I-15 northbound near Jean on Sunday morning.
According to the Nevada State Police, the incident occurred around 6:21 a.m. Emergency responders pronounced the child dead at the scene. The adult driver and another child sustained minor injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital.
Both northbound and southbound lanes of I-15 were closed following the crash. Authorities diverted northbound traffic at mile marker 12 onto the Jean exit, allowing access to Las Vegas Boulevard. Southbound traffic was redirected at the Sloan exit at mile marker 25.
