COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — A motorcyclist died in a crash early Wednesday morning involving a car, according to the Commerce City Police Department.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:20 a.m. near Colorado Boulevard and E. 52nd Ave. Authorities reported that the motorcyclist was traveling the wrong way when the collision took place. The driver of the car remained at the scene and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
The ramp in the 5300 block of Colorado Boulevard has been closed as the Commerce City Police Department's Traffic Team conducts its inquiry. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
No other injuries have been reported at this time. The investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
