OLATHE, KS — A rollover crash on Interstate 35 Monday resulted in the death of a 29-year-old man.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. near mile marker 210. The man was driving a 2010 Ford Explorer southbound when he lost control and rolled over.
Authorities reported that the vehicle was the only one involved. Emergency responders from the Olathe Fire Department and Johnson County Med-Act arrived at the scene and confirmed the man's death. He was pronounced dead at the site of the accident.
The accident led to lane closures in both directions while authorities conducted their investigation. Traffic was significantly delayed as a result. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by the Kansas Highway Patrol. Further details will be released as the investigation continues.
