Crash Involving Dirt Bike Injures Two in Grand Haven
GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WXMI) — A 20-month-old girl and a 25-year-old man are recovering from injuries sustained in a dirt bike crash on Mercury Drive on October 21.
According to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office (OCSO), the incident occurred as the pair was traveling eastbound on a bike path parallel to Mercury Drive on an electric dirt bike. A Ford Truck exiting a business park collided with the dirt bike.
Both vehicles were reportedly traveling at low speeds, confirming the collision's nature. The 25-year-old man suffered serious injuries, while the toddler sustained minor injuries. Neither individual was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Both were transported to a hospital for treatment.
The OCSO confirmed that the crash is under investigation.
