HARVEY, N.D. — A head-on collision late Wednesday killed a Tioga woman and left a Minot man injured.
At approximately 10:26 p.m. on Oct. 15, the 45-year-old driver of a Nissan Rogue crossed the center line on U.S. Highway 52, about 9 miles southeast of Harvey, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol. The Nissan collided with a Kenworth truck driven by a 73-year-old man heading southeast.
The driver of the Nissan died at the scene. The Kenworth driver was transported to St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey with injuries. Authorities confirmed that the Kenworth driver was wearing a seat belt; however, it remains unclear if the Nissan driver was restrained.
Road conditions were wet and misty at the time of the accident. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
