OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — Two buses from Mustang Public Schools were involved in a minor crash on I-44 in northwest Oklahoma City on Saturday morning.
The Oklahoma City Fire Department (OKCFD) responded to the accident, which occurred around 10:00 a.m. No injuries have been reported, according to authorities.
The buses were transporting intermediate choir students to Frontier City at the time of the incident. A third bus carrying Horizon Intermediate students was not involved in the crash.
OKCFD and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) responded to the scene. The buses were relocated to a nearby parking lot for safety.
Mustang Public Schools confirmed that families have been notified. Once cleared by OHP, the field trip will continue as scheduled, with parents having the option to pick up their children at Frontier City upon arrival.
