Motorcyclist Killed in Newark Crash Identified

Newark police identified 21-year-old Dylan Maxwell as the motorcyclist killed in a crash on August 28.
Authorities received reports of the incident at Elkton Road and Thorn Lane around 9 p.m. Maxwell was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of a sedan sustained minor injuries.
Emergency responders from the Newark Fire Department provided medical assistance, and the area was secured for an investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
Police closed portions of Elkton Road for several hours, allowing for accident reconstruction. Further details on the circumstances leading to the collision are pending.
