Lehigh County Crash Claims Life of New Jersey Man

A New Jersey man died Thursday in a two-vehicle accident in Lehigh County.

George Cowan, 58, of Collingswood, was at about 4:30 p.m. following the crash on Route 100 in Lowhill Township, according to Coroner Daniel A. Buglio. Cowan was driving one of the vehicles involved.

The cause of death is listed as multiple blunt-force trauma, with the manner deemed accidental. State Police are actively investigating the incident. Further details, including the status of the other vehicle and any additional injuries, have not been released.
