Potters Hill Fire Department Responds to Multi-Vehicle Accident on Hwy 24
At 8:34 a.m. on Hwy 24, the Potters Hill Fire Department (PHFD) responded to a multi-vehicle accident involving a box truck.
According to PHFD, the box truck was positioned on the back of a trailer loaded with tree-trimming equipment when emergency crews arrived at the scene. Multiple patients were reported; however, officials confirmed no severe injuries.
It took approximately five hours for crews to clear the roadway, leading to lane closures during the operation. The PHFD was subsequently released by the State Highway Patrol.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
