Lede: A multi-vehicle crash caused significant delays Wednesday morning on Route 22 in Lehigh County.
According to 511pa.com and Trooper Nathan Branosky from the State Police, the crash occurred around 6:15 a.m. in the eastbound lane near mile marker 321 in Whitehall Township. Only the right lane remained open as of 7 a.m.
Eastbound traffic has backed up significantly as vehicles approach the crash site. Authorities noted that delays are expected, with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) estimating the scene will be cleared by 9:45 a.m.
At this time, no injuries or fatalities have been reported. Further details regarding the number and type of vehicles involved are pending.
