SIOUX FALLS — Two motorcyclists were killed in a crash on Friday night, June 6, on Russell Street.
According to the Sioux Falls Police Department, the incident occurred shortly after 9:15 p.m. when the riders, identified as 56-year-old Erik Boyles and 55-year-old Travis Gallop, both of Sioux Falls, collided while navigating a curve west of Kiwanis Avenue.
Both motorcycles lost control and crashed into a center median and guardrail, resulting in fatal injuries for both riders. Emergency services were dispatched, but both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

Motorists and motorcyclists are urged to ride safely and defensively to reduce the risk of further incidents.
