BURLEY, Idaho — A 59-year-old Heyburn man died in a motorcycle crash on Bedke Boulevard on Friday evening.
At 10:21 p.m., the man was riding a 2015 Kawasaki motorcycle northbound when a vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a southbound 2013 Jeep Cherokee, according to Idaho State Police (ISP).
The motorcyclist died at the scene, and authorities confirmed he was wearing a helmet. The 33-year-old driver of the Jeep, from Burley, sustained minor injuries and was not transported to the hospital. He was wearing a seat belt.
ISP received assistance from the Cassia County Sheriff's Office, Burley Fire Department, and medics from Cassia Regional Hospital.
Bedke Boulevard was closed for approximately 2 hours for the emergency response.
