Motorcyclist Dies in Berlin Crash Into Home
A motorcyclist in his 20s died late Sunday night after crashing into a home in Berlin, Massachusetts.
According to police, the incident occurred on West Street near Randall Road. Authorities posted on Facebook around 9:50 p.m. urging the public to avoid the area due to a serious motor vehicle crash.
Witnesses reported seeing a severely damaged motorcycle that had collided with the front porch of a residence, causing visible damage to the structure. The home is adjacent to the West Street Tavern, a local restaurant.
The Berlin Police Chief confirmed the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Details surrounding the cause of the crash and the victim's identity have not been released.
