Motorcyclist Injured in Lisbon Falls Collision

A 21-year-old man is in critical condition after losing control of his motorcycle and colliding with a in Lisbon Falls, Maine, on Wednesday at approximately 3:17 p.m.

According to the Lisbon Police Department, the man was riding a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle eastbound on Route 196 when he slid into the westbound lane and struck a Hyundai Sonata.

Emergency responders transported the motorcyclist to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with critical injuries. He was subsequently flown by LifeFlight to Maine Medical Center in Portland. His identity has not been released, and there is no current update on his condition.

The driver of the Sonata, a 37-year-old man from Winthrop, was unharmed in the incident, authorities reported.

The cause of the motorcycle accident remains unclear, and an investigation is ongoing.
